"The 2018 Avesso Inspir'ar Grande Escolha is unoaked, without fizz and comes in with six grams of residual sugar, 5.2 of total acidity and 12.5% alcohol. This, a current submission despite the vintage date, is fresh, young and lively. There's not a lot of power, but there is some modest pop on the finish. The concentration is average, but the overall result is a very elegant wine that drinks beautifully right now. I'm less sure about how and whether it will develop.

Not imported, this runs around seven euros in Portugal."
